Finance Manager - Americas

About the role

Genius Sports is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for the Americas region. The role supports the US, Colombia, Canada and Brazil offices, with a hybrid schedule that requires presence in the Medellín office several days a week. You will lead the regional accounting team and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Americas accounting team, including 2‑3 direct reports, and drive finance process improvements.
• Prepare monthly regional results, including P&L, balance sheet and commentary.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations and enhance related controls.
• Support SOX control implementation and maintain compliance.
• Ensure accounting follows GAAP and Group policies, and assist with SEC reporting under US GAAP.
• Coordinate local audits, tax compliance and other ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in industry.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, fluent English, and familiarity with US GAAP and Colombian accounting/tax.
• Proven leadership and team‑development abilities.
