Financial Accountant

About the role

Hilti Colombia is looking for a Financial Accountant to lead and coordinate key accounting and finance processes, ensuring accuracy, timely follow-up and compliance with company policies. The role works closely with Finance and other business functions to support reliable financial operations, strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate accounting and finance processes, ensuring accurate execution and compliance with company policies.
• Oversee account reconciliations and balance sheet account analysis, resolving outstanding items.
• Manage accounts payable, including documentation review, invoice monitoring and payment coordination.
• Coordinate tax compliance, ensuring accurate calculation and timely filing of national and local tax obligations.
• Oversee financial and accounting processes in SAP, aligned with IFRS requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests, consolidating information and supporting documentation and responses.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and other functions and promote continuous improvement and stronger internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Professional Accountant License (Tarjeta Profesional).
• Experience coordinating accounting and finance processes, including reconciliations, balance sheet analysis and accounts payable.
• Knowledge of Colombian national and local tax obligations and compliance.
• Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining financial controls.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and clear cross-functional communication.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP and IFRS.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and technologies, applied to improve efficiency and automate routine tasks.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
