Financial Controller – Hybrid – Medellín

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead accounting and finance operations within a growing international organization. The role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across a multi-entity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, and Colombian regulations.
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee tax compliance and relationships with DIAN and UGPP.
• Lead budgeting, treasury, cash‑flow and financial planning activities.
• Supervise accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and invoicing.
• Partner with U.S. stakeholders and executive leadership to support strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Accounting & Finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and Colombian accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or QuickBooks preferred).
• Advanced English (B2+).
