Financial Modeling Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Modeling Expert to join a US‑based AI technology company that builds specialized agents for complex financial tasks. The position is fully remote, reporting to the US Pacific Time zone, and requires advanced English proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Build financial models from scratch for debt, structured finance, private credit, and private equity use cases.
• Review and improve existing models, identifying weak assumptions, logical errors, and missing schedules.
• Create realistic finance scenarios, assumptions, and supporting source materials.
• Develop detailed revenue, cost, working capital, capex, debt, covenant, valuation, and scenario schedules.

Required profile

• 3‑8+ years of hands‑on experience in debt & structured finance, credit analysis, or private equity, preferably at a top firm.
• Proven ability to build financial models from scratch, not just fill templates.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and expert‑level understanding of cash flow, valuation, leverage, liquidity, and capital structure.
• Ability to work independently with ambiguous or incomplete information and communicate clearly in English.
