Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager leads all FP&A efforts for World Courier North America, improving planning and reporting processes through stronger analytics, data quality, and system‑enabled workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy finance support plans, partner with operational leaders to review monthly results, isolate variances and update forecasts.
• Monitor operating expenses and headcount, lead budget discipline, and report progress to leadership.
• Deliver forecasts and annual plans with documented assumptions, sensitivity analysis and risk/opportunity assessment.
• Build and standardize tools, templates and financial models to improve reporting quality and cycle efficiency.
• Champion process improvement, system enhancements and coordinate the annual planning process.
• Manage and develop a FP&A team, providing coaching, performance management and goal setting.

Required profile

• 7+ years of finance, FP&A or corporate finance experience, with 3+ years in a management capacity.
• Proven people‑leadership skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across functions.
• Strong quantitative, modeling and reporting abilities, with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience required.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
• Experience with Power BI and building financial/KPI dashboards.
• Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (ERP, Oracle Hyperion, SAP) and budgeting/planning tools.
• Ability to use AI to enhance reporting efficiency.
