Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning Analyst will partner with business managers, directors, and support functions to ensure financial rigor throughout the project lifecycle, from setup to closure. You will act as a trusted financial advisor, driving profitability and supporting strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to monitor project profitability, challenge cost structures, and advise on pricing and commercial decisions.
• Control project financials, analyse P&L at project and entity level, and track key indicators such as utilization, billing rates, unbilled revenue, and overdue receivables.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling‑forecast processes; prepare and present monthly financial reviews to senior management and the Board.
• Support external audits by providing accurate financial data and ensuring consistency between operational and financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in FP&A, controlling or finance, preferably in a consulting or project‑based environment.
• Strong understanding of project economics, margin drivers and financial modelling.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; ability to work in a fast‑paced, international setting.
