FinCrime Analyst – External Enquiries

About the role

The Financial Crime team at Revolut needs a FinCrime Analyst to handle external enquiries, work with law‑enforcement agencies and ensure compliance with court orders and data‑protection legislation. You will investigate fraud cases, generate alerts and support a 24/7 operation, including night and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with law‑enforcement bodies and respond to court orders, DPAs and POs in line with POCA and DPA regulations.
• Coordinate with the Legal team to prepare documentation for third‑party requests and witness statements.
• Conduct fraud‑related investigations using analytical tools and produce reports and alerts for suspicious activity.
• Ensure all external requests are completed within statutory timelines and discuss financial‑crime concerns with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (certificate required) and fluency in Spanish and English (C1+).
• 2+ years of FinCrime experience or 1+ year dealing with external law‑enforcement agencies.
• Familiarity with investigative methodologies and ability to work under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to work from the Bogota office.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets, including filters and pivots.
• Experience creating network charts for investigative analysis.
