Fleet Inventory Analyst

About the role

The Fleet Inventory Analyst is a remote member of the Logistics Team supporting the entire United States. The role combines analytical insight with hands‑on inventory control to optimise asset utilisation, ensure field readiness and maintain compliance with company standards for surgical instruments and implants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage territory and area inventory assets, including instruments, implants and loaner kits, maintaining accurate records of placements, movements and usage.
• Coordinate with distribution centres and field teams to track loaner kit utilisation and requirements, ensuring compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
• Analyse inventory levels and usage data, prepare quarterly and annual reports on deployments, stock withdrawals, freight and courier usage, and develop performance dashboards.
• Partner with Sales, Logistics and Operations leadership to align inventory with utilisation goals, support sales forecasting and territory P&L initiatives.
• Serve as the local point of contact for field logistics support, troubleshooting and escalation while adhering to FDA Quality System Regulations and GxP standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in inventory analysis, inventory control, logistics or supply‑chain roles, preferably within medical‑device or healthcare environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with sales, logistics and operations teams.
