Fraud Prevention Advisor

About the role

The Fraud Prevention Advisor is the strategic fraud prevention expert for the 360 Fraud Protection business in Latin America. You will work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to shape tailored fraud prevention strategies for financial institutions and influence new business and renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy‑level fraud prevention conversations with financial institutions, identifying pain points and proposing tailored solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Strategic Accounts and Customer Success to support deal closures and renewals across the region.
• Research emerging fraud trends and translate findings into presentation and training material.
• Design and deliver fraud prevention training courses for internal teams and clients.
• Represent AppGate as a speaker at leading fraud prevention forums across Latin America.
• Provide market feedback to Product and Marketing to shape roadmap priorities.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in fraud prevention, risk management or fraud strategy within a financial institution or solutions provider.
• Proven ability to conduct consultative, strategy‑level discussions with senior stakeholders and influence buying decisions.
• Fluent Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of digital fraud typologies affecting banks and fintechs (account takeover, social engineering, phishing, smishing, brand impersonation, mule accounts).
• Experience creating and delivering fraud‑related presentations and training content.
• Public speaking experience and comfort representing a company at industry events.
