Front-End Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript/React)

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Front-End Developer to create and maintain user‑facing features for a modern point‑of‑sale system used in retail environments. You will work with multinational teams, delivering high‑quality UI components that power store‑ready software.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend components using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Write unit tests with React Testing Library to ensure reliability.
• Apply Material UI to create consistent, accessible UI patterns.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and support end‑to‑end flows.
• Review code, follow standards, and address defects and performance issues.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Anthropic Claude Code or similar AI‑assisted development tools.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and clear communication skills.
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency (B2) or higher.
