Full-Stack Developer - Fintech Platform

About the role

Post Oak Group is building a financial technology platform and is looking for an experienced, highly motivated full-stack developer to lead its development from concept through deployment. The position is remote and full-time, and the ideal candidate uses modern AI-assisted development tools such as OpenAI Codex to speed up work while keeping code quality, security and reliability high.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of the web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Design and build intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
• Build and maintain backend systems, databases, authentication and API integrations.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Develop mobile apps compatible with iOS and Android.
• Use AI coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor to accelerate development.
• Implement application security, testing, monitoring and deployment practices.
• Manage priorities, timelines and deliverables independently, working with the company's leadership team.

Required profile

• Strong experience in full-stack development, including frontend and backend.
• Demonstrated experience integrating third-party APIs and shipping production applications.
• Experience with databases, cloud infrastructure, authentication and application security.
• Previous fintech or financial services experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to work independently and overlap with U.S. Central Time business hours.

Required skills

• React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript or comparable frameworks.
• React Native or similar cross-platform mobile frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
