GBS Intermed Collections Associate

About the role

The GBS Intermed Collections Associate is responsible for managing collections across multiple customer segments, improving cash flow and reducing delinquency. The role involves extensive interaction with customers, external agencies, and internal teams to resolve payment issues and support the organization’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries within agreed service level agreements.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve complex payment delays, reducing Days Sales Outstanding.
• Develop, create, and analyze collection and accounts receivable reports.
• Maintain and update customer account information using various software tools.
• Submit recommendations for writing off uncollectible balances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, preferably in Business or a related field.
• Prior collections experience with strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Basic negotiation skills and ability to handle objections.
• Conversational English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
