General Mechanic (UH-60) – Aviation Maintenance

About the role

The General Mechanic (UH‑60) will perform hands‑on maintenance on UH‑60 helicopters, ensuring airworthiness and compliance with all applicable regulations. The role requires extensive experience in aviation maintenance and the ability to work with both Colombian and U.S. regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Technical degree in aviation maintenance from an accredited civilian or military institution.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on aviation maintenance experience, including at least 4 years on the specific aircraft type.
• Current TLH or TLA Colombian license, or an equivalent U.S. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• English proficiency at FSI Level R/1 and Spanish proficiency at FSI Levels R/3 and S/3.
• Knowledge of Colombian Aeronautica Civil, U.S. FAA, and U.S. military maintenance regulations.
• Familiarity with Colombian safety standards and procedures.
