About the role
The General Mechanic (UH-60) position supports aviation maintenance operations for Colombian‑based aircraft. The role is open only to Colombian nationals with extensive hands‑on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair on UH‑60 aircraft according to Colombian Aeronautica Civil, U.S. FAA, and U.S. military regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Colombian safety standards and procedures throughout all maintenance activities.
Required profile
- Technical degree in aviation maintenance from an accredited civilian or military institution.
- Minimum 8 years of hands‑on aviation maintenance experience, including at least 4 years on the specific aircraft type.
- Current TLH or TLA Colombian license, or equivalent U.S. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- English proficiency at FSI Level R/1 and Spanish proficiency at FSI Level R/3, S/3.
Required skills
- Aviation maintenance expertise on UH‑60 platforms.
- Knowledge of Colombian Aeronautica Civil, U.S. FAA, and U.S. military maintenance regulations.
- Familiarity with Colombian safety standards and procedures.
