Global Finance Leader for Surgical Vision

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Global Services is seeking a Finance Lead to support the Country Finance Manager for the Global Surgical Vision business. Based in Bogotá, this senior role provides controllership services, ensures accurate US GAAP reporting, and drives financial transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly sales, trial balance, income statement and balance sheet reviews for 21 market reporting centers, ensuring accurate consolidation and compliance.
• Lead SOX compliance, internal and external audit support, and drive standardization and process improvement using digital finance tools.
• Act as strategic finance advisor to business units, providing insights for planning, forecasting, M&A activities and performance management.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing finance team across Latin America, championing DE&I and employee engagement.
• Support and influence technology transformation projects such as SigniFi, managing change and shaping new finance processes.

Required profile

• 8+ years progressive finance experience, including shared services and commercial finance, with at least 3 years of people‑management experience.
• Strong ability to lead through influence in matrixed, multicultural environments and communicate effectively in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, digital finance adoption and delivering value‑generating initiatives.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, CFIN and AFO financial systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP reporting and SOX compliance.
