Global Forwarding Coordinator

About the role

C.H. Robinson is looking for a Global Forwarding Coordinator in Bogotá to support its transportation operations and make sure shipments move efficiently while delivering a high-quality experience to customers and carrier partners. The coordinator works on-site five days a week, coordinating transportation activities in English and communicating with drivers, carriers, shippers and internal stakeholders. The role involves managing multiple priorities, tracking shipment movements and solving day-to-day operational issues.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the processes of international shipping, from purchase order to delivery of cargo at its final destination.
• Assist global forwarding personnel and other third parties with inquiries and problem resolution.
• Generate, file and maintain accurate customer records, reports and shipment documentation.
• Provide tracking and tracing services for customer shipments.
• Support and back up deliveries and turnarounds, and perform load audits.
• Provide reporting and documentation support to global forwarding personnel and ensure customer data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with customer SOPs, government agency regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Preferred: minimum 2 years of previous work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office and to multi-task and prioritize.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; values a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (preferred).
