Global Pharmacovigilance Data Specialist – Trilingual

About the role

Join Merck's global pharmacovigilance team as a Data Specialist, responsible for analyzing and interpreting adverse event reports across multiple therapeutic areas. You will ensure safety compliance for both investigational and marketed products while leveraging your multilingual abilities to translate critical reports.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analysis, interpretation, and data entry of adverse event reports from diverse sources.
• Provide written translation of adverse event reports, primarily from Portuguese and optionally French.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues and maintain process standardisation.
• Support simplification and optimisation of case‑management activities to improve overall effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a health‑care or life‑science discipline (e.g., nursing, veterinary, pharmacy, bacteriology, biology/microbiology).
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) or intermediate (B2) with C1 level writing/reading, certified.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced proficiency in Portuguese (required) and French (desirable), certified.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience; clinical or pharmacovigilance experience preferred.
