Group Financial Controller – Bilingual English/Spanish

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Group Financial Controller to lead global consolidation, safeguard internal controls, and ensure compliance with international accounting standards for a multinational agribusiness and trading group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual group close processes across all entities, including intercompany accounting and eliminations.
• Own and maintain group accounting policies under UK GAAP, FRS and IFRS, and design the internal control environment for audit readiness.
• Partner with the budgeting team, drive re‑forecasting cycles and monitor bank covenant compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on hedge accounting treatments for currency and financial exposures.

Required profile

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Extensive hands‑on experience with international group accounts and the relevant accounting standards.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to be based in Bogotá and travel frequently to global offices.
