Healthcare Scheduler – Patient Services Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Healthcare Scheduler / Patient Services Specialist to be the primary point of contact for patients and referral sources. You will coordinate appointments, manage referrals, and ensure a smooth patient experience while supporting route optimization and verification of scheduling information.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments across U.S. healthcare providers.
• Handle inbound patient communications, appointment confirmations, and follow‑up activities.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/EHR systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Navigate multiple scheduling platforms and update patient information with high data‑entry accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare scheduling, medical reception, or patient services.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ to C1) for interaction with U.S. patients and teams.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Athenahealth, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or NextGen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and scheduling software.
