HR Business Partner - Hybrid

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker is looking for an HR Business Partner in Medellin, Colombia, working in a hybrid environment. The role acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees, turning business strategy into people priorities and delivering HR solutions that improve performance, engagement and organisational capability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business goals and workforce needs
• Lead and support compensation and benefits activities, including promotions, job changes, compensation analysis, annual bonuses, merit cycles and benefits reviews
• Contribute to organisational design and job architecture, and support talent management such as succession planning, talent reviews, performance management and leadership development
• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives, and guide leaders on employee relations, performance concerns and disciplinary actions
• Support payroll and HR operations follow-up, and develop and implement HR policies and practices
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment, coordinate Workday transactions and approvals, and manage vendor relationships for HR services
• Take part in regional or global HR projects and promote recognition and wellbeing initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Law, Human Resources or a related field
• Experience in generalist HR processes, ideally including compensation, development, engagement, employee relations and recruitment
• Knowledge of labour legislation, internal policies and disciplinary processes
• Experience partnering with leaders on talent and people matters
• Intermediate to advanced English, especially for regional or global contexts

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills for compensation, payroll, HR metrics and reporting
• Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday
• Intermediate to advanced Excel
• Communication, stakeholder management, organisation, follow-up and problem-solving
