HR Specialist – Remote Fintech & Crypto

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Specialist to join a fast‑growing fintech and cryptocurrency client. This fully remote position supports the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring HR systems run smoothly, employees receive timely support, and data remains accurate across a global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employee inquiries on policies, procedures, and employment matters.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including paperwork, system setup, orientation, and exit interviews.
• Administer Paylocity – configure records, permissions, workflows, and resolve system issues.
• Create HR reports, dashboards, and executive‑ready PowerPoint presentations on headcount, turnover, and workforce metrics.
• Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with EEO‑1, labor surveys, audits, and U.S. employment law.
• Assist managers with documentation, coaching conversations, and policy interpretation to foster an inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Required skills

• Paylocity HRIS administration.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations.
