Imports & Exports Analyst – Freight Forwarder (US)

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous, energetic, and organized Logistics Specialist to oversee Full Container Load (FCL) shipments across Canadian import and export corridors. You will work with a high‑performing team to ensure smooth cross‑border workflows, accurate shipping paperwork, and exceptional partner support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bookings, schedules, and carrier allocations for incoming and outgoing FCL freight linked to Canadian trade routes.
• Audit and generate essential shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Ensure strict compliance with Canadian import/export regulations, CBSA guidelines, and international trade policies.
• Communicate continuously with carriers, customs brokers, and clients about transit milestones, cut‑offs, and tracking updates.
• Oversee freight readiness, drayage coordination, drayage tracking, and terminal or door deliveries across Canada and global destinations.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in freight forwarding, focusing on Canadian import and export logistics.
• Familiarity with CargoWise software is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high‑demand environment.
