Information Technology Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Information Technology Specialist to provide on‑site and remote technical support across the organization. The role involves maintaining hardware, software, and network services while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Assist in network setup, monitoring, and basic administration (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
• Support remote users when necessary.
• Perform routine system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance.
• Handle IT asset inventory, tracking, and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and external support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
• Respond to IT tickets, incidents, and service requests within SLA.
• Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT tools and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, common business applications, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with VPNs, remote desktop tools, and ticketing systems.
• Good understanding of IT security principles.
