About the role

Materialise Medical is looking for a Biomedical Design Engineer to create patient‑specific 3D bone models, surgical guides and metal implants for cranio‑maxillo‑facial (CMF) surgeries worldwide. The role is operational, processing clinical cases according to validated SOPs and using Materialise software to add value to patients' lives.

Key responsibilities

• Generate accurate 3D bone models using Materialise software.
• Design customized surgical guides or metal implants for CMF procedures.
• Prepare detailed planning reports that serve as references during surgery.
• Execute assigned cases following work instructions, prioritizing based on planning and surgery dates.
• Participate in process‑improvement activities, complete required documentation, and register REAs.
• Maintain the IQVIA system and TS365 records up to date.
• Attend all mandatory trainings, pass SOP assessments, and track personal time.
• Report issues through the proper communication flow and provide feedback via internal quality systems.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established SOPs and work instructions.
• Willingness to attend and complete all required trainings.
• Strong coordination and prioritization skills to manage daily case assignments.
• Commitment to accurate documentation and timely issue reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Materialise software for 3D modeling.
• Experience creating 3D bone models and surgical guides.
• Familiarity with IQVIA system and TS365 time‑tracking tools.
