Instructional Designer (eLearning)

About the role

Coupa is seeking an Instructional Designer to create and maintain high-quality eLearning, instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training for its product suite. You will work closely with subject-matter experts to translate complex spend-management concepts into engaging learning experiences for customers, partners and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional SMEs to identify learning needs and define performance objectives.
• Design and develop curricula for online, ILT and vILT formats.
• Apply instructional design theories to close performance gaps and maximize learner impact.
• Produce scripts, storyboards and prototypes for stakeholder review before development.
• Build interactive e-learning modules using Articulate 360 and Camtasia, managing tasks in Asana.
• Own the end-to-end content development lifecycle, ensuring seamless hand-off to delivery teams.
• Conduct quality assurance to meet corporate writing and style standards.

Required profile

• 2+ years of instructional design or curriculum management experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in rapid two-week development cycles.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and evidence-based design.
