About the role
This position is part of UPS Global Business Services in Medellín, focusing on collections for various customer types. The role aims to improve cash flow, reduce delinquencies, and limit bad‑debt exposure while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries within the defined service level agreement.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve complex payment issues that delay collections.
- Develop, create, and analyze collection and accounts‑receivable reports.
- Monitor and maintain assigned customer accounts and update stakeholder information using multiple software tools.
- Submit recommendations for writing off account balances.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, preferably in Business or a related field.
- Prior collections experience with strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Basic negotiation skills and ability to handle objections.
- Conversational English proficiency.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
