Intermediate Test Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our global, remote‑first team. You will validate new functionality, identify issues, and help ensure product quality for a modern payments platform serving a major fintech client.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using C#, Playwright and related tools.
• Execute manual testing to validate new and existing functionality.
• Review requirements and product functionality to identify testing needs.
• Analyze test results, investigate failures and help pinpoint root causes.
• Contribute to expanding test coverage and automation.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to clarify requirements and resolve defects.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on QA experience, including manual and automated testing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Upper‑Intermediate English proficiency.

Required skills

• C# programming.
• Playwright UI automation.
• Experience with Java or Python.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered tools such as GitHub Copilot.
