Internal Auditor

About the role

Sanimax is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen internal controls and support risk management across its sustainable manufacturing operations in Colombia. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and Corporate teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute risk‑based operational, financial and compliance audits across business processes.
• Conduct process walkthroughs, risk assessments and control testing.
• Evaluate and enhance internal controls to mitigate business risks.
• Monitor corrective action plans and validate remediation efforts.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, anomalies and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Internal Controls, Compliance or Risk Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional designation such as CIA, CPA or CISA is an asset.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
