IT Security Consultant – L3 (Hybrid, Bogotá)

About the role

We are looking for a senior SOC Incident Response (IR) L3 Consultant to join our security team in Bogotá. The role is hybrid and focuses on leading the investigation and resolution of complex cybersecurity incidents while strengthening the organization’s overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage security incidents throughout the full incident response lifecycle.
• Perform triage and advanced investigations using SIEM, IDS, EDR, antivirus, proxy, firewall and internet‑footprint tools.
• Correlate security events to assess business risk and identify intrusion attempts.
• Conduct host, network, memory and malware forensic investigations.
• Develop and improve SOC procedures and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with Security and IT teams on remediation while ensuring data confidentiality.
• Provide L3 support during critical incidents, including overtime when required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a SOC Analyst, Threat Hunter/Researcher, or similar incident response role.
• Hands‑on experience leading security incident response.
• Strong knowledge of attack vectors, threat analysis and digital forensics.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model based in Bogotá.
