Italian-Speaking STR Specialist (Remote)

About the role

A short-term rental portfolio is looking for an Italian-speaking STR specialist to support its day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is fluent in Italian and English, highly organized, and experienced in guest communication and property management. The position is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with guests in Italian and English through Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, email and messaging platforms.
• Handle guest inquiries, booking requests, check-in/check-out questions and issue resolution.
• Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and other property-related services.
• Monitor reservations, calendars, availability and guest information.
• Assist with listing updates, pricing and property information.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns and coordinate with property owners, cleaners, maintenance vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor reviews and guest feedback, and escalate issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken.
• Previous experience in short-term rentals, property management, hospitality or guest services preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO.
• Experience with PMS/channel management platforms such as Guesty, Hostaway or Hostfully is a plus.
