About the role
We are looking for a Java Support Engineer to join our team in Bogotá. The role involves providing technical assistance to clients using our software solutions and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with both on‑site and remote resources.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve client‑raised issues, providing guidance based on documentation.
- Install, configure and customize solutions following implementation guides.
- Reproduce client environments to diagnose problems and collect relevant data.
- Document all interactions in the CRM tool in line with SLA requirements.
Required profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of technical support experience facing customers.
- Fast learner with ability to self‑educate on relevant technologies.
Required skills
- Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, HTML, PERL.
- Object‑oriented programming and Windows Forms development.
- Linux and Microsoft Server environments.
