Junior Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Colombia. The role offers hands‑on experience across the full accounting cycle, supporting both day‑to‑day operations and periodic reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices, verify expenses and prepare payments.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and posting payments.
• Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with bank statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements and cash‑flow reports.
• Provide documentation for audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulations.
• Prepare employee expense reports, file Provident Fund returns and manage payroll‑related compliance.
• File tax returns including GST, PT and TDS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
