Junior Analyst – Accounting (Inventory & Cost)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated finance professional early in their career to join the Accounting team in Bogotá. The Junior Analyst will support critical inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and fixed‑asset accounting processes while gaining hands‑on experience in month‑end close, reconciliations, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting activities for Inventory, COGS, and Fixed Assets.
• Execute month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities on schedule.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and perform account analyses.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Review accounting transactions, resolve discrepancies and variances.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson policies, SOX requirements, and accounting standards.
• Execute internal controls, maintain supporting documentation, and follow worldwide accounting procedures.
• Escalate accounting or compliance concerns as needed.
