Junior Mechanical CAD Designer (Remote, PST)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical CAD Designer to support the creation and maintenance of accurate mechanical drawings for a high‑growth global engineering team. The role is fully remote, aligned with PST (Oregon) working hours, and offers the chance to work on cutting‑edge industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and revise mechanical drawings and design documentation using AutoCAD.
• Interpret engineering mark‑ups, specifications, and project requirements to produce accurate deliverables.
• Create and interpret mechanical layouts, drawings, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure drawing consistency and project quality.
• Organise files, revisions, and documentation in line with project standards and deadlines.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
• Strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting or CAD design.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, layouts, and design documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced expertise in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit.
• Familiarity with Navisworks.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D.
