Junior Project Manager (Keet P2P) – Remote

About the role

The Keet engine team builds the core of a peer‑to‑peer video‑call and chat app. As a Junior Project Manager you will help keep the work moving, coordinating engineers, developers and QA across a fully remote, async‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones and roadmaps up‑to‑date.
• Run or support stand‑ups, planning sessions and retrospectives across time zones.
• Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers and QA to surface dependencies early.
• Write clear status updates, release notes and meeting summaries.
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, routing them to the right engineers.
• Spot risks and blockers early and assist the team in resolving them.
• Maintain internal documentation and processes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management or a similar role (including internships or open‑source contributions).
• Excellent written English communication, able to explain technical progress clearly.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Comfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fully remote, async‑first team.

Required skills

• Experience with issue trackers and project tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira or Linear.
• Basic understanding of networking or distributed‑systems concepts (P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, replication).
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Git and release processes.
• Some exposure to JavaScript/Node.js.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices or related certification.
