Junior Web Developer – Remote

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer to support an award‑winning SEO agency that serves automotive dealership clients. This fully remote, hands‑on position offers the chance to sharpen front‑end skills while contributing directly to client website performance.

Key responsibilities

• Upload and format content on client sites using CSS3 and HTML5, ensuring compliance with SEO and brand guidelines.
• Update navigation, internal links, and metadata to improve user experience and organic search results.
• Diagnose and resolve 301 redirects and 404 errors efficiently.
• Implement updates and enhancements within WordPress and other CMS platforms across multiple accounts.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists, writers, and designers in a remote team, applying feedback accurately.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of practical web development experience or completion of a coding bootcamp.
• Strong written and spoken English for clear remote communication.
• High attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑moving agency.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CSS3 (including Flexbox, Grid, responsive design).
• Solid knowledge of HTML5.
• Basic JavaScript ability for simple edits.
• Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
