L1 Technical Support – Network & Systems (Bogotá)

About the role

BVP is seeking a proactive L1 Technical Support professional to provide hardware, software, and network assistance for North American clients from its Bogota office. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with global teammates and ensuring seamless service delivery 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and perform hardware/software upgrades, backups, and maintenance on all computers.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot workstation hardware and software.
• Provide technical support to North American clients, handling network issues, internet outages, and monitoring station problems.
• Maintain CCTV and access‑control infrastructure, and manage network‑related incidents efficiently.
• Document all work, create technical manuals, and deliver training to staff as needed.
• Communicate daily with customers via phone and email, attend support meetings, and keep service records up to date.

Required profile

• Experience in network administration and handling Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, and Mikrotik equipment.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS) and the OSI/TCP‑IP models.
• Proficiency in Windows system maintenance and Active Directory user management.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and quickly learn new technologies.
