L3 SOC Analyst

About the role

Inchcape Digital is looking for a senior L3 SOC Analyst to lead investigation and response to complex cybersecurity incidents. You will act as the highest technical escalation point and drive improvements across detection, response, hunting and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigation and response to high‑severity incidents, coordinating containment, eradication and recovery.
• Develop and enhance detection rules, threat models and monitoring across SIEM, EDR, cloud, identity and network platforms.
• Perform proactive threat hunting, build and optimise SOAR playbooks and automations.
• Mentor junior analysts, contribute to SOC strategy and participate in on‑call escalations.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on SOC experience, including senior incident response, threat hunting or detection engineering.
• Proven track record leading major cybersecurity incidents in complex environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams and convey findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in SIEM, EDR, SOAR, cloud security, identity security, endpoint and email security platforms.
• Experience creating, tuning and optimising detection rules and behavioural analytics.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, threat hunting methodologies and threat intelligence.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, Active Directory, Entra ID and cloud technologies.
