LATAM Accounting Manager

About the role

Sycomp is looking for an experienced LATAM Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across multiple Latin American entities. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will act as a key business partner, providing financial insight, improving processes, and supporting strategic decisions throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close activities for all LATAM entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, balance‑sheet reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and local statutory reporting requirements.
• Partner with Sales Operations, Billing, Legal, AP, AR, Treasury, Tax and other cross‑functional teams to support business operations.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits across the region.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting systems, controls and processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, proactive accounting professional with experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to operate independently with high accountability.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
