LATAM Controller

About the role

Connectly.ai is seeking a hands‑on Controller based in Latin America to own the full accounting and financial operations function across three geographies (US, Greece, Brazil). Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be the single point of accountability for all backward‑looking finance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close process for all entities.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements under US GAAP.
• Perform intercompany eliminations, currency translation and reconciliations.
• Deliver close within established timelines with full documentation.
• Manage relationships with three outsourced accounting firms.
• Supervise a junior FinOps team member.
• Ensure accuracy of books across all jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Controller or senior accountant handling multi‑entity consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting practices.
• Experience managing outsourced accounting teams.
• Ability to work independently and take full accountability for financial results.
• Based in Latin America and able to collaborate with teams in the US, Europe and Brazil.
