LATAM Program Management Lead

About the role

AECOM is looking for an experienced Program Management Leader to join its Latin American team and build, shape and lead its pipeline of major programs across the region, covering sectors such as defense, transport, water, clean energy, environmental clean-up, international development and disaster recovery. The role provides technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the pursuit of infrastructure and buildings programs in Latin America, including major proposals and client engagement
• Work with Global Business Lines, regional leadership and market sector leaders to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions
• Lead client-facing activities to win work with new clients and strengthen relationships with existing clients, partners, industry groups and stakeholders
• Develop strategies and capture plans for major pursuits, coordinating with the Global PGM team, country managers and business line leaders
• Maintain regular contact with clients and project delivery teams to address client feedback on team performance
• Drive innovation in program management approaches and methodology
• Support the attraction and retention of Program Management talent in Latin America
• Be accountable for the financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreements in Latin America

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including 10 in a program management leadership role
• Proven track record of shaping and leading large programs in Latin America
• Strong industry reputation through participation in infrastructure industry organizations
• Access to C-level and decision-making stakeholders
• Ability to deliver projects, manage teams on concurrent complex programs and collaborate across geographies and disciplines
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
• Preferred: degree in architecture, engineering or project management, and PMI-PgMP, APM-RPP or CMAA-CCM certification (not essential)
