LATAM Trade Operations Lead

About the role

The LATAM Trade & Transportation Lead will oversee the transportation network and trade compliance framework across Latin America for Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes business. The role ensures cost‑efficient, reliable, and fully compliant product movement from manufacturing sites to distribution centers, hospitals and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regional trade leadership, ensuring customs, import/export and trade regulation compliance across all LATAM countries.
• Drive value through optimized inbound and outbound transportation flows, managing third‑party logistics providers and performance metrics.
• Partner with supply chain, quality, finance and legal teams to resolve issues, support product launches and network changes.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, transportation or trade compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of international trade and customs regulations within Latin America.
• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization and managing complex operational risks.
