LATAM Trade Operations Lead

About the role

The LATAM Trade Operations Lead is a senior position within Johnson & Johnson's global supply chain function, responsible for overseeing transportation networks and trade compliance across Latin America. The role ensures cost‑efficient, reliable, and fully compliant movement of medical products from manufacturing sites to distribution centers, hospitals and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regional trade leadership, ensuring compliance with customs, import/export and trade regulations across all LATAM countries.
• Manage and optimize inbound and outbound transportation flows, partnering with third‑party logistics providers and control‑tower partners.
• Monitor trade performance metrics, lead corrective actions, and maintain audit readiness.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, finance and legal teams to resolve issues and support product launches.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, transportation or trade compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of international trade and customs regulations within Latin America.
• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization and managing complex operational issues.
