Lead IT Engineer (Bilingual English‑Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English‑Spanish) Lead IT Engineer to own and direct the management, configuration, and performance of our cloud applications, laptops, and office network. This hands‑on leadership role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance across the entire IT stack, with a strong focus on vulnerability management, patching, backup & recovery, wireless networking, and Microsoft 365.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vulnerability assessment and patching cycles using tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7.
• Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (Intune, Jamf, etc.) for corporate device lifecycle.
• Oversee enterprise backup and disaster recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and meeting RTO/RPO targets.
• Maintain virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V, Nutanix) with performance tuning and HA configurations.
• Operate and secure enterprise wireless networks (Meraki, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Fortinet) and network switching/firewall policies.
• Support the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Run IT Service Management (ITSM) tools for ticketing, change management, and SLA compliance.
• Document processes, create runbooks, and lead incident response during on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Proven experience in vulnerability management, MDM, backup/recovery, virtualization, and network security.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation and work extended hours during maintenance or incidents.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to align with industry best practices.
