Lead IT Engineer – Bilingual Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English‑Spanish) Lead IT Engineer to own and optimize our cloud applications, laptops, and office network. This senior, hands‑on role spans the full IT stack—from identity and endpoint management to virtualization, backups, and networking—allowing you to work autonomously while collaborating with security and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Run vulnerability assessment and patching cycles, coordinating with the security expert in Boston.
• Configure and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for corporate device lifecycle.
• Operate enterprise backup and disaster‑recovery, meeting RTO/RPO and compliance goals.
• Maintain virtualization platforms, handling resource allocation, performance tuning, and high‑availability.
• Administer wireless networking infrastructure, ensuring coverage, performance, and security.
• Configure, monitor, and manage network switching and firewall policies.
• Manage the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory).
• Use IT Service Management (ITSM) tools for ticketing, change management, and SLA compliance.
• Document processes, create runbooks, and align with internal policies and best practices.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and respond to network/infrastructure incidents, including weekend and holiday support.

Required profile

• Bilingual English‑Spanish communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience managing vulnerability and patching platforms.
• Proven ability to operate MDM, backup, virtualization, and networking solutions independently.
• Strong judgment to evaluate vendor recommendations and propose adjustments.
• Willingness to work extended hours for maintenance or incident response.
