Lead Software Engineer - Cloud Solutions

About the role

Pariveda, a North American-based, employee-owned professional services firm and Certified B Corp, is opening an office in Bogotá and is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join its Solutions Center. You will design, develop and deliver enterprise-level applications, work with US-based colleagues, interact directly with clients, and help grow junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Grow your career under the guidance of a dedicated mentor, with reviews every 6 months and eligibility for promotion every 12 months.
• Lead small teams and help teammates develop their skills and careers.
• Diagnose and solve complex problems for Fortune 500 clients across many industries.
• Own projects end to end: manage projects, estimate, gather requirements, architect, develop, test and deliver.
• Build cloud-native applications, data-driven solutions, IoT, machine learning and AI using Python.NET, Java, JavaScript and SQL, and web and mobile technologies such as React, Redux, Angular, Vue, iOS and Android.
• Present findings, solutions and demos to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Work in a hybrid model and take part in continuous learning and community events.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Technical leadership experience, such as coaching others and leading parts of projects (estimating, assigning tasks, timelines, requirements, design).
• Client-facing or consulting experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable experience.
• Fluent English; legally authorized to work in Colombia.
