Learning Designer

About the role

Moodle is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to deliver dynamic Moodle implementations for clients, initially in the US and later globally. You will guide clients through needs analysis, site configuration, user management, course design and alignment to learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to design and launch fully functional Moodle sites, including course creation and user management.
• Collaborate with IT, Development, Sales and Project Management teams to meet technical and custom development requirements.
• Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, quick‑reference guides and other learning resources.
• Participate in client cadence meetings, apply instructional design models and ensure continuous improvement of learning processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience building courses in Moodle LMS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while advocating universal design and accessibility.
• Passion for improving online learning experiences and solving client problems creatively.

Required skills

• Moodle administration and course building.
• Experience with Moodle Workplace (preferred).
• Familiarity with SCORM content packaging.
• Project management principles and tools.
