Legal Intake Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and communicative Legal Intake Assistant to manage outbound communications and initiate personal injury claims. The role is fully remote and supports a boutique law firm that values high‑touch client service and empathy.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume outbound calls to insurance companies to open new legal claims.
• Contact clients proactively to collect missing documentation and essential claim details.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications, follow‑ups, and claim statuses in the firm’s case‑management system.
• Navigate insurance protocols efficiently to reduce delays in claim initiation.
• Provide clear, supportive communication to clients during the intake phase.
• Balance phone‑heavy tasks with timely administrative follow‑ups to prevent claim stalls.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of experience in customer service, call‑center, telephonic intake, or administrative support (legal or insurance background is a plus).
• Proven reliability, excellent attendance, and strong time‑management skills.
• Comfortable making consistent outbound calls throughout the workday.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, spoken and written.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with legal case‑management platforms such as CloudLex, Filevine, or Clio.
