About the role

We are looking for a Technical Leader in Cybersecurity to drive application security initiatives, especially around Generative AI capabilities, within a hybrid environment in Medellín. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with strategic leadership to protect our cloud‑native applications. You will collaborate with development, product, and infrastructure teams to embed security early in the development lifecycle and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives for Application Security related to GenAI and cross‑functional solutions.
• Guide and evolve processes for Threat Modeling, Pentesting, and AI‑augmented AppSec.
• Define security standards and implement automated vulnerability detection strategies.
• Support the AppSec team in enhancing automation, research, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Application Security, including Threat Modeling, Pentesting, and Secure SDLC.
• Deep knowledge of secure software development and architectures in cloud environments, APIs, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of GenAI/LLM architectures and associated risks.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and decision‑making in complex environments.
