About the role

The Technical Design Leader will provide tower detailing, drafting and CADD support for high‑voltage transmission line and lattice steel tower projects. You will ensure high‑quality engineering designs, specifications and construction packages that meet industry standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and oversee detailed lattice tower structural models, fabrication, assembly, erection drawings and bolt schedules for multi‑site transmission projects.
• Validate design‑phase deliverables, 2D/3D CADD layouts, fabrication specifications, construction packages and as‑built documentation.
• Coordinate with transmission line, structural and foundation engineers as well as steel fabricators to resolve design conflicts and ensure constructability.
• Monitor QA/QC reviews, tower detailing, shop drawings and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior designers on Auto‑CADD, Bocad modeling, drawing standards and QA/QC procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in drafting, design support and tower detailing.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to perform technical calculations, interpret codes and standards (ASCE, AISC, NESC, IEEE).
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and adhere to safety and quality policies.
